Rib Runner Tools LLC Minimum Advertised Price Policy (“MAP Policy”)
(U.S.A. and Canada Only)

Applies to: All U.S. and Canadian Distributors and Retailers


Purpose:

To protect the reputation of Rib Runner Tools LLC ("Rib Runner Tools") as a premier provider of high-quality construction tools, this Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy ensures fair competition among Resellers and maintains brand value.


Policy Overview:

1. MAP Pricing: Rib Runner Tools will issue a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) List periodically. Products listed must not be advertised below the prices stated on the MAP List. The MAP List will indicate the effective date and will be distributed via email or other agreed methods.

2. Scope: This policy applies to all advertisements, including but not limited to:

  • Print (e.g., newspapers, catalogs, flyers)
  • Digital (e.g., websites, emails, paid search, social media)
  • Broadcast (e.g., TV, radio)
  • Any public price display in any medium

3. Exclusions: This policy does not apply to in-store signage or private quotes provided directly to customers upon inquiry (e.g., in person, phone, or email).

4. Transactional Pricing: This policy governs advertised prices only. Resellers may sell Rib Runner Tools products at any price.

5. Prohibited Advertising Practices:

  • Statements such as “Call for price,” “Email for price,” or similar language implying pricing below MAP.
  • Promotions that effectively reduce the advertised price below MAP (e.g., bundling, discounts).
  • Third-Party Websites: Advertising Rib Runner Tools products on third-party platforms (e.g., eBay.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com) is prohibited without written authorization from Rib Runner Tools.

6. Permitted Advertising Practices:

  • Free shipping, tax discounts, or financing offers.
  • Storewide promotions that explicitly exclude Rib Runner Tools products.


Policy Administration:

1. Enforcement: Rib Runner Tools reserves the right to monitor all advertisements and take unilateral action for non-compliance. Sanctions may include:

  • First Violation: Written notice with 3 business days to correct violations.
  • Second Violation: Account suspension and loss of "Authorized Dealer" status.

2. Modifications and Promotions: Rib Runner Tools may modify or suspend this policy for promotions and will notify all Resellers in advance.

3. No Negotiation: This policy is not subject to negotiation. Questions must be directed in writing to Rib Runner Tools at info@ribrunnertools.com.

By purchasing Rib Runner Tools products, Resellers agree to abide by this MAP Policy.
